Our Doctrinal Statement

1.  We believe in one God, existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are one       in essence and equal in authority.  (Gen. 1:26;  John 10:30; Phil. 2:5-9)

2.   We believe the Bible is God's inspired word as His personal self disclosure to mankind.  It is with-        out error and our only and final authority.  (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Heb. 4:12)

3.  We believe that all mankind is born with an inherent sin nature; their heart is deceitful and

wicked, and this puts them at enmity with a holy God.  (Jer. 17:9; Rom. 3:10; 18:23)

4.  We believe that God, in his grace and mercy, expressed His love by providing salvation through

Christ's substitutionary  death and glorious resurrection.  It can be entered into by faith through

grace according to God's divine plan.  (Eph. 2:8-9; 2 Cor. 5:21; Rom. 4:25)

5.  We believe that salvation is only the starting point of God's redemption plan in the believer's

life.  In His grace, He moves them to Christlikeness through progressive sanctification.

      (Rom. 8:29; Rom. 6:12-14; 1 Peter 2:2)

6.  We believe that the Church is the body of Christ to which every believer is placed into at con-

version.  Christ is the head; it is universal in scope but is expressed locally through membership

      and participation.  (1 Cor. 12:27; 1 Tim. 3:15; Heb. 10:25)

7.  We believe that all mankind have one of two eternal destinations:  For all truly saved, Heaven; and

for all lost, living in sin and rejection of Christ, Hell. (Rev. 20:11-15; Rev. 21:22)
